this game is getting so little attention. I bet GoW PSP would have at least 20 comments attached to any review that comes out and it probably won't even be as good (as Patapon).
I believe they have a version in the works for PSN to be playable on the PS3
Wageslave is a contributor?! Has hell frozen over?
just for that hilarious avatar (also, you repped Patapon)!
at least IMO. I was psyched for this game and it let me down. Overall, it was decent w/some truly great moments (Green Eye, huge worm you outrun on the speeder, etc., getting in the mechs and tearing akrid up - especially some of the later ones [drill one], etc.) but the controls, relative stiffness of animations (I know you're in the snow most of the time, but I'm not talking about that) and a couple other things keep it from being a 8 to 10 out of 10 game. For the record, I'd probably gi...
on the US Store as well today
Patapon demo!
the best bet right now for RPGs is actually PS2, PSP and the DS!
I don't remember any significant ones. I thought the game (FF12) as a whole progressed very fluidly.
My original comment about LO's long battles didn't even really deal with load times. I'm talking about the fact it takes SO LONG to get through a single character's action. Don't get me wrong, LO is probably still cool, but the battles seem really slow.
Disgaea 3
are just trolls, but then again, so are the 360 fanboys complaining about the PS3 HDD install in DMC4 ("oh no, 20 minutes at the very beginning of the game before you even start!")
but can anyone comment if the battles take entirely way too long? From what I saw, they move SO SLOW. Rest of the game looks solid at least though.
now the game will probably turn out to be a pleasant surprise for you (if it's half decent)
FINALLY!
But the PSP has been impressing me lately. If Sony would add some more PS1 games for download on PSN (so we can play them on our PSPs), that'd be the icing on the cake. I hope that Devil Dice, Omega Boost, Rollcage rumor turns out to be true. But, what we really need on the US Store is...
- Xenogears
- Suikoden
- Suikoden 2
- Alundra
- Syndicate Wars
to play on the PSP!
By the way, those are some good choices - Devil Dice (overlooked gem), Omega Boost (good shooter) and Rollcage (decent - good racer)
and I'm almost positive those sales count in the total...well, at least it shows that PSP is selling. Now bring on the RPGs (to America)!
but, I'm a sucker for handdrawn 2D stuff so...maybe? No offense against Blue Dragon guys.
will no doubt be overlooked in GoW's wake unfortunatly
